Philosophy of Education
Students should feel safe enough in a classroom to stumble and grow at their own pace without embarrassment. They should have the opportunity to think outside the box without being ridiculed. While students should feel comfortable making mistakes, they also need to be aware of behavioral expectations so they do not interfere with the learning of other students. One person’s individual rights to learn and participate should not interfere with another person’s right to learn and participate.
