Student of the Month
Over the course of my student teaching I had the privilage of selecting three students for student of the month. These students were recognized in front of their peers and the faculty during an assembly. It was difficult to choose from so many deserving students, but I picked students who demonstrated a readiness and eagerness to learn or a positive attitude.
Ode to Drefke --During observation my cooperating teacher assigned a kleenex project. Students were supposed to decorate a kleenex box so it would resemble something they liked and write an ode to it. After stopping a girl from passing notes she decided I should be her kleenex box project and this is the poem she wrote for me.
Contacting Parents --This is a write up summarizing a conversation I had with a parent about her son's behavior in class.
